Rosemary Crockpot Bread

-3 cups all purpose flour

-1/2 tsp quick active yeast

-1 tsp salt

-1 tbsp dried rosemary

-1 1/2 cups warm water

*water should be like bath water, not too hot so you don't kill your yeast

*Add your yeast + 2 tbsp warm water to a small bowl, let sit for 5 minutes until yeast gets frothy

*Add flour and salt to a large bowl, add in about 1/4 cup water and your yeast, stir.

Slowly add in your remaining water because depending on your climate you may use more or less

Bread will be sticky, but it should be easy to work with!

Once fully combined, I like to add the dough to my countertop and knead it about 3 folds just to see how sticky or dry it is. It gives me a good feel of the dough

Add your dough back into your mixing bowl, cover with a tea towel and let rise for 1 hour

Add your risen dough to your crockpot lined with parchment paper, top with a paper towel between the bread and the lid at the top to catch any condensation from the lid

Cook on high for 4-5 hours

Let rest for 30 minutes before cutting
