Rosemary Bread

This is a GREAT holiday gift idea to add to a cute jar!

-2 tbsp crushed dried rosemary

-1 tsp salt

-1 tbsp garlic powder

-1 1/2 cup all purpose flour

-1/2 tsp active yeast

*I like to separate the yeast from the other ingredients when gifting it, usually placing it in a small container

Add instructions:

Mix yeast with 3/4 cup warm water (not too hot you don't want to kill your yeast, like bath water!!) Let sit 5 minutes

Once your yeast is ready, add it to your dry ingredients and form into a ball, no need to kneed it. Add it back to your bowl for about 1-2 hours until it doubles in size (its awesome overnight too!)

*Pre heat your oven to 450 and add either a bread pan or your dutch oven to your oven while pre heating

Once the oven is pre heated, take out whatever dish you plan to bake your bread in

Add your bread to the pan, no need to kneed it or add oil to the pan

Bake at 450 for 30 minutes covered, remove lid and bake for an additional 15 minutes uncovered for a nice crispy top

***If you don't have a dutch oven, you can use two bread pan. Use one as a lid!
